These are the business tools and resources I’ve chosen because they make work simpler, more organised and more efficient. I don’t believe in collecting subscriptions or buying software for the sake of it. If it’s here, it’s because it’s earned its place.
Samsung Book 5 360
I have the Samsung Galaxy Book4 360 (the newer Book5 is the current equivalent). Fast, lightweight and with a touchscreen, S Pen and a 360° hinge, it can be used as both a laptop and a tablet. Ideal for writing, planning, content creation and everyday business tasks.
Why it’s here: This has become my office. It’s quick, reliable and far more versatile than I expected. I use it every day for writing, website updates, Canva, Microsoft 365 and everyday business tasks. If mine needed replacing tomorrow, I’d happily buy the current model.
Dual Head Desk Lamp
An adjustable LED desk lamp with multiple brightness and colour settings, built-in USB charging ports and a flexible arm to direct the light exactly where you need it.
Why it’s here: I spend a lot of time at my desk, so good lighting really matters. Whether I’m working, writing or conducting the daily search for rogue chin hairs, it’s bright, easy to adjust and the built-in USB ports are genuinely useful.
Business Planner
A spacious A4 business and lifestyle planner with room for appointments, to-do lists, notes and goals. Perfect if you prefer putting pen to paper rather than relying on endless apps.
Why it’s here: I’ve tried digital planners and productivity apps, but I always come back to pen and paper. This sits open on my desk every day because my brain works better when I can see everything at a glance.
Dell Docking Station
A USB-C docking station that connects multiple monitors, keyboard, mouse, speakers and other peripherals through a single cable. It keeps everything connected in one place and makes switching between working and leaving the desk quick and effortless.
Why it’s here: I’ve used this docking station every working day for years and it has never let me down. One cable connects almost my entire desk setup, keeping everything simple and easy to disconnect my laptop whenever I need to. It’s one of those pieces of equipment that quietly does its job so well you forget it’s there.
Portable Travel Hub
A compact USB-C travel dock that adds HDMI, USB ports, Ethernet, SD card reader and power delivery through a single connection. Small enough to keep in a laptop bag, it’s ideal for working away from your usual desk without sacrificing connectivity.
Why it’s here: I’ve used this travel dock whenever I’ve needed a more portable setup and it’s been reliable every time. It takes up very little space, gives me the connections I need and means I can work almost anywhere without carrying lots of separate adapters. It’s one of those accessories that’s easy to overlook until you need it.
Portable Monitor
A lightweight 15.6-inch portable monitor that adds a second screen wherever I’m working. It connects easily via USB-C or HDMI, packs neatly into a laptop bag and makes working away from my desk far more comfortable without taking up much space.
Why it’s here: I spend most of my time working with two screens, so switching to just a laptop display really slows me down. This portable monitor gives me the extra screen space I’m used to, whether I’m travelling or working somewhere else for the day. It’s slim, easy to carry and one of those purchases that quickly became part of my regular setup.

A 24-inch Full HD monitor with a crisp, clear display that’s comfortable to work on all day. The adjustable stand, built-in cable management and excellent screen quality make it ideal for a home office, whether you’re writing, researching or managing multiple projects.
Why it’s here: I use two of these monitors every day and couldn’t go back to a single screen. I often split each monitor into two windows, so it’s like having four workspaces open at once. It makes it much easier to keep documents, websites, emails and research visible without constantly switching between tabs, The cable management built into the stand helps keep everything a little neater.
